Don’t smack a horse in the butt, especially if it’s a member of New York’s finest.

A Bronx man was arrested Tuesday after he caused a small stir at Times Square when he allegedly decided to get fresh with an NYPD horse. Victor Flores, 32, of the Bronx was walking around West 47th Street an 7th Avenue around 9:30 p.m. when slapped the rear of the animal while an officer was still mounted on it, police said.

Although the smack didn’t physically harm the horse, it did create a problem, according to an NYPD spokesman.

“It reacted to the smack with a forward motion risking injury to office and pedestrians,” he said.

Flores, who allegedly had cocaine on him, was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct and criminal possession controlled substance, the police said.
